Recently, the Shenzhen Exhibition Center for High-Quality Fabrics of Shantou International Textile City was officially established. This marks a new platform for the deep integration of the textile and garment industrial chains in Shenzhen and Shantou, and will open a new chapter of industrial cooperation featuring resource sharing and complementary advantages between the two places.
It is understood that during this period, Longhua District of Shenzhen City and Chaoyang District of Shantou City jointly held the Shantou International Textile City - Shenzhen Garment Industry Cluster High-Quality Fabric Supply and Demand Matching Conference at the Longhua - Chaoyang Industrial Coordinated Development Base. Through display and exchange, resource connection, and industrial collaboration, they aimed to promote the brand of Shantou International Textile City and the high-quality development of Chaoyang's textile and garment industry. Nearly a hundred people, including leaders from the Chaoyang District Government, representatives from the industry and information technology bureaus of Longhua and Chaoyang Districts, key regional centers of Longhua District, the Shantou Textile and Garment Association, the Shenzhen Textile Industry Association and other industry associations, as well as representatives from brand clothing enterprises in both regions, attended the event.
Chaoyang District of Shantou City, as a major area for the national textile and garment industry, has over 40,000 business entities. In 2024, the output value of its large-scale industrial enterprises reached 32.989 billion yuan. Gulao Town, known as "China's Famous Town for Knitted Underwear", has ranked among the top 100 towns in China with an output value of over 10 billion yuan. The Dalang Fashion Town in Longhua District, Shenzhen, aims to build a "world-class fashion industry cluster", gathering over 700 fashion enterprises such as Caldanton and Vansino, and forming a full industrial chain ecosystem integrating design, research and development, and exhibition and sales. Through the "reverse enclave" model, the two places combine Shenzhen's innovative elements with Chaoyang's manufacturing advantages to explore a demonstration path for cross-regional industrial collaboration.

Representatives from high-quality fabric enterprises in Shantou and clothing enterprises in Shenzhen respectively presented product descriptions and released demands.
